The Festival of San Marco and Cuchi di Canove represents a moment of great cohesion and identity for the community of the Plateau: April 25, in addition to being the anniversary of the Liberation of Italy, is the day dedicated to San Marco, patron saint of Canove.
Always very heartfelt and participatory, this popular festival comes alive with markets, stalls and entertainment designed to involve people of all ages: children, adults and families. To make it even more special, the traditional food stand, where the authentic flavors of the Plateau delight the palate of guests, and the evenings of live music, which will animate every day of the festival.
The Festival of San Marco and Cuchi di Canove will also be accompanied by the 6^ edition of the San Marcà Market, full of handicrafts, curiosities, gastronomic specialties and, of course, cuchi!

Cuchi: a symbol of love and tradition
The cuchi, typical handcrafted terracotta whistles, are an ancient tradition on the Asiago Plateau and represent a symbol of love and friendship. History and legend come together in the practice of giving the cuco as a sign of affection: a gesture of tenderness that evokes the custom of lovers to give these objects to their loved ones as a token of love.
During the Sagra di San Marco, it is possible to find cuckoos of all shapes and colors, from the most traditional to the most particular such as water models, which emit a gurgling sound when blowing into the mouthpiece.
With each new purchase, the party turns into a symphony of unique sounds : high, low, ringing or rhythmic like the song of the cuckoo to which these whistles owe their name.
The Festival of San Marco and Cuchi is thus confirmed as an unmissable event for the Asiago Plateau, capable of attracting not only the local inhabitants but also numerous visitors from the nearby Vicenza plains and beyond. Don't miss the opportunity to live an authentic experience, between tradition, taste and fun!
