From Monday 4 to Friday 8 July 2015 in the hamlet of Rubbio onAsiago plateau held the traditional Sagra del Sedano di Rubbio.
This is a traditional festival, which each year attracts many tourists from Bassano and the plateau, full of fun and serenity: protagonista of this tasty event is one of the most famous typical products of our land: the Rubbio celery.
The tasty and abundant attending the Festival through the food Stand will all be based on this very fine and fine vegetable: one more opportunity that offers l' Plateau, to taste every traditional dish.
The evening will be also animated by music, besides a must-see football tournament.

A thousand meters of altitude on celery has a season of his own: he sowed in a protected cells from late January to March; Today the seedlings come from nurseries and are planted in the ground, well worked and composted cattle manure or equine, as soon as the weather gives idea of having quieted, between May and June. In summer celery grows without the need of much, because it mostly just the dew at night to keep the soil cool; the same is true of other adversities, diseases and pests, which have fewer incidences thanks to mountain climate. Thus the time of bleaching, which consists in covering of land up to a certain height the coast of celery, so away from light can stay clear and crisp. Characteristics of Rubbio celery are precisely the costa Blanca, tenderness and mild flavor.
