Saturday, 7 September at Asiago Observatory: spectroscopy laboratories and observation of the stars
Saturday, September 7 thePennar Asiago Observatory offers two events not to be missed: the hours 18.00 the spectroscopy laboratory "the Rainbow of stars", then at 21.00 anobservation tour of heaven, entitled "myths of the sky". If the weather is bad, the observation will a themed evening.
This year we celebrate forty years of Copernico Telescope (1973 – 2013). Therefore all our educational activities will be enhanced by themed events, conferences and exhibitions to mark the work done by this tool!
The Asiago plateau is home to the largest telescopes of the Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (INAF) on land, managed by the National Astronomical Observatory of Padova that Asiago has for decades his observational seat. It is not only an important research site, but also a place where the public can come into contact with the great themes of modern astronomy.
