I pianeti della GalassiaTheAstronomical Observatory of Asiago in the locality of Pennar hosts Tuesday 21 July 2015 "Saturn and its moons", an astronomy-themed meeting starting at 21.00.

It is a lesson with remote observation with the Schmidt telescope (only in case of clear skies) lasting 90 minutes.


Saturn is a gaseous planet and is the second in size after Jupiter, which it resembles. Its main feature is formed by rings that surround it. Orbit around the Sun at a distance of 1 billion 429 million km. It has a yellowish color due to the clouds that cover and density is the lightest planet.
