On the evenings of 26, 27 and 28 February 2023, the traditional festival of "Schella Marz" or "Schella Marzo" returns to Asiago!

This anniversary, which in Cimbrian means "Ring March", has always been warmly celebrated on the Asiago Plateau in the last days of February to say goodbye to winter: the hope of young and old is that spring will arrive soon, a ritual to awaken nature from the long winter sleep, to greet the past season and welcome the new.

The parade of the "bandoni" and the burning of the "vecia" await you! Come and make a noise too!

THE PROGRAM

Sunday 26 and Monday 27 February 2023, from 20:00 — Traditional parade to bid farewell to winter at the Historic Center of Asiago

Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 8:00 p.m. — Final evening of the event and fire at the "Vecia"

SCHELLA COMPETITION RULES

All young people, young people, children accompanied by parents or adults who are in possession of a row of "bandons" prepared in such a way as to be easily maneuverable during towing (exclusively manual), especially when cornering, to avoid any obstacle and damage to cars parked on the sides of the road (everyone is responsible for their own row of bins) participate in the Schella Competition .

The row of "Bandoni" must consist only of DRUMS, cans or other metal containers. If the row contains "improper materials" (mufflers, stove dog, sheet metal, headboards, etc.) it will be excluded from the parade. The queue must not exceed 15 meters in length and 2 meters in width.

The winner of the SCHELLA will be chosen by a special jury. Only those who participate in all three evenings of the Schella Marz will be able to aspire to win the SCHELLA.
