On the first evening of March, Camporovere di Roana will come alive with the noise and joy of Schella Marzo, the traditional ritual to greet winter and welcome spring.
The appointment is for Sunday 1 March 2026 at 20:00, with meeting at the Church of San Giovanni.
From here, equipped with compasses, pots, cowbells and anything else that can make noise, young and old will walk the streets of the town making noise to awaken the summer!
At 21:00, as per tradition, "se bruserà la vecia", at the Casa Tanzerolch car park.
This year the students of the Camporovere school complex will be present to entertain those present with traditional music and poems.
To end on a high note, all participants will be offered hot chocolate and mulled wine.
Don't miss this evocative event, which honors and passes on the ancient customs of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities!
