On Saturday 28 February 2026, Roana will say goodbye to winter and welcome spring with the highly anticipated event of Schella Marzo, one of the oldest and most characteristic traditions of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.
The meeting is set in Piazza Santa Giustina at 8:30 pm. Here young and old will gather to give life to a noisy parade through the streets of the town. With "bussolotti, bandotti and teccie", the participants will make their enthusiasm resonate, recalling the new season and leaving the cold winter behind.
At the end of the parade, the most awaited moment: the burning of the "Vecia", a large puppet symbol of winter will be burned as a propitiatory rite for the change of season.
And you, have you prepared the announcements? The invitation is open to all those who wish to participate in this lively event and help make the greeting to spring even louder and more engaging.
Schella Marzo is a unique opportunity to experience a tradition deeply rooted in the local culture, immersing yourself in the festive atmosphere of Roana and the entire Asiago Plateau. Don't miss it!
