Wood carving lessons with master Val Gardena and artist Demez Ernest
From 12 to 15 February 2018, the Gymnasium of the former primary school of in Treschè Basin, on theAsiago plateau, will host the sculpture course with master Val Gardena Demez Ernest.
The great artist will teach participants the art of wood carving, explaining techniques and tricks to make the best use of chisels, gouges, sandpaper and other tools of the trade and so real masterpieces.
An event of great depth, dedicated to all lovers of art and sculpture, which enriches the cultural summer in Treschè Basin and around the plateau.

When: from 12 to 15 February 2018, every day from 8.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 18.00.
Where: at the gym of the primary schools in Treschè 's Hollow
EQUIPMENT: everyone will need to bring your own Workbench and tools
PRICE: €110.00 per person (the price is including wood)
REGISTRATION LIMIT: 10 students

DEMEZ ERNEST
Born in 1951, he attended the Art Institute of Selva in Val Gardena, where he teaches nowadays wooden sculpture.
His wooden sculptures represent both classical figures both original figures, personal style.
The theme that prefers in his sculptures is the female figure, which realizes in a sculptural style with simple lines, tending to abstract, always seeking the harmony of forms.
