DESTINATION: Cesuna - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

Not everyone knows the British intervention in Italy during the First World War, the British Expeditionary Force (B.E.F.) was deployed in March 1918 between Asiago and Cesuna in support of the Italian divisions in the trenches. 

The British Empire at the time extended over all continents and included a fifth of the world's population, which is why up here there were numerous nationalities fighting. 

Through the tangible signs left by the War, such as trenches and cemeteries, we will introduce you to the stories of these soldiers, catapulted into the Plateau, literally on the other side of the world.

During the journey through fir forests and lush grasslands, the guide interpreting the landscape, will take you on a journey through history to give you an experience in Nature full of emotions!

Reservations are required. 

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads, The difference in altitude uphill is less than 250 m. There are no exposed sections.

TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.

COST: 5€ for the guided excursion.
