Snowshoe hiking on Mount Longara a central BASIN Plateau Guides, March 23, 2014

Sunday 23 March will be held on the Mount Longara; the meeting point is at attached to bar of Asiago ice rink at 9.00 o'clock. You must wear Mountain boots and heavy clothing.

At the end of the excursion, prior notification, you can lunch in a restaurant/refuge nearby.

For the entire month of March 2014 Association Plateau Guides propose numerous snowshoe in the most fascinating places of theAsiago plateau.

MONTE VAL MARIE

The Monte Val Marie lies just north of the hamlet of Gallio, for this is easy and fast to reach. But for the scenic beauty and wildlife has nothing to envy to the principal summits of the North of thePlateau.

From this area you can enjoy a wonderful view of the so-called Central Valley, where most of the villages on the plateau. During snowshoe hike walk along the entire ridge of Mount, through pastures and meadows during the summer that inhabit Mountain grazing animals, coming to the monument dedicated to John Paul II who from here has blessed the lands of the plateau.
