Excursion with snowshoes "glances without border: MONTE ERIO" with Asiago guides, Sunday March 5, 2017

The Association organizes a charming Asiago Guide Guided snowshoe hike on Mount Zhong for Sunday March 5, 2017.

The Monte Erio is located above the village of Mezzaselva, little known area but offering a beautiful panorama on the central basin and the western part of the plateau.

The route starts from the former heliotherapy Institute and will lead us through the Woods, to a beautiful alpine pastures. In the first part the climb requires a bit of a pain, but you will be richly rewarded by endless panoramic view of our mountains and beyond.

The return you can visit a famous Karst chasm, Stonhaus, fabled abode of Orcs and other characters of the imaginary plateau.

DETAILS OF THE EXCURSION

• Meeting point: 08.45 hours the parking lot of the consortium of dairies (via f. Baracca Asiago)
• Difficulty: 3 on a scale of 1 to 5;
• Duration of the excursion: half-day;
• Displacement: with your car.

To bring: walking boots (NO MOON BOOT), clothing (in winter there may be extreme cold, but walking or snowshoeing there heats up quickly), water or hot tea for the duration of the hike.
