Guided historical-naturalistic snowshoeing with Asiago Guide

DESTINATION: Monte Longara - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

Pope WOJTYLA, during a helicopter ride, wanted to stop in these alpine pastures to contemplate our mountains and our history, immersed in the peace of these places.
Snowshoeing will be the real opportunity to enjoy views of rare beauty, listen to the sounds of the forest, to know what a Malga really is, but also to know the history of these places that have witnessed helplessly the cruel clashes between the armies during the Great War of which you can see the signs even under the snow.

Reservations are required.
Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a ring, does not present particular technical difficulties and there are no exposed sections. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in altitude uphill is less than 300 m, the length does not exceed 7 km.

TO TAKE WITH YOU:mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, cap, gloves.

COST: 15€ for the guided excursion. 5€ for children under 15 years.
Possible rental of snowshoes and poles: € 10 per person.

MEETING POINT: at 9.30 am at the Parking of the Melette - Località Busa Fonda Parking

It starts on foot from the meeting point.
