Guided snowshoeing at night with lanterns and amateur astronomer - Asiago Guide

DESTINATION: Campomulo-Monte Longara - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

In a suggestive atmosphere that recalls nights of other times,the dim light of the lanternsmakes its way. Far from light pollution we relive the experience of mountain people: malgari, soldiers or maybe lovers who had to move at night without the comforts of our days. The reflection of the snow will amplify our lights magically showing us the woods and the sorreas. The use of a single non-artificial light allows us to have a better view of the celestial vault that in the mountains shows itself in all its majesty thanks to the lower light pollution present. Between mythology and science, the guide will make your imagination travel to infinity.

Reservations are required.

Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties, there are no exposed sections. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in altitude uphill is less than 250 m. 

The route may vary due to the presence of ice / snow but the difficulty and the theme will remain unchanged.

TO TAKE WITH you: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot drink for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, cap, gloves.

COST: 20€ for the guided excursion. 10€ for children under 15 years.

Possible rental of snowshoes and poles: € 10 per person.

It starts on foot from the meeting place.
