Destination: Malga Larici di Sotto - Asiago Plateau Seven Municipalities

When the mountain awakens, everything happens slowly. The first light of day, the sound of cowbells, the scent of wet grass and the beginning of milking tell the daily life of those who live in the mountain pasture. We will live together the first hours of the day at Malga Larici di Sotto, participating in the morning activities and sharing a breakfast prepared with the products of the malga. A unique opportunity to enter the heart of mountain life and rediscover the rhythms of the mountain people!

The initiative is also intended to be a tribute to Mario Rigoni Stern, who just twenty years ago published his latest book, Seasons. The slow passage of time shapes man, pastures, mountain huts and their  cheeses. Step by step, accompanied by the words of the "singer of the Plateau", we will visit places rich in history and nature, meet the protagonists of the mountain and taste the products that tell the story of the territory.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 1 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The uphill elevation gain is less than 100 m, there are no exposed sections.

🎒TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain shoes, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, hat. Please note that it may be a few degrees above zero at dawn and it is advisable to wear appropriate clothing. 

🫰COST: €25 for the guided excursion and breakfast, €15 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
