GOAL: Spitz Verle - Alpe Cimbra
Walking through pastures and forests of beech and fir, we reach the top of the mountain, kingdom of alpine hares and chamois, where other balsamic notes will pervade us: those of mountain pine and juniper.
The summit of Spitz Verle (1908 m), as well as for nature and enchanting views, is also known as "the eye of the plateaus" for its position of domination on the Asiago plateau and overlooking the lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo.
For its strategic location, before the war it was one of the ideal places for the construction of a fort, whose remains still tell us about the atrocities of the battles that took place.
On this day we will have the opportunity to glimpse the conflict through the eyes of those who at that time lived in border areas, with work and affections divided between the two countries, Austria and Italy.
A day of immersion in the essence of Trentino, to discover its history and appreciate the well-being that only Nature can offer us and live together a Mountain of Emotions!

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 4 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route develops between mountain paths and dirt roads through the upper area of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni. The difference in height uphill is less than 600 m, there are no particularly exposed sections except for a panoramic point at the Fort.
TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, PACKED LUNCH, any cover.
COST: € 20 for the guided excursion per person, € 5 for children under 15 years.
