So why not start with a cultural experience immersed in the wonder of a winter landscape? A method to take care of your body and mind in company!
Step by step we cross gentle slopes that in summer are dedicated to grazing, framed by fragrant beech and fir woods to reach the ridge of Cima Ekar.
Here a splendid view of the central basin of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities opens up in front of us, made even more magical by the warm colors of the sunset.
When darkness falls on us, we will stop to observe the myriad of stars in the place chosen by the University of Padua for one of its main observatoryes, where the guide will tell you many scientific and mythological curiosities!
There will be a stop at the yellow bench of Cima Ekar! A giant bench where you can go back to being a child and feel small in front of the immensity of the Nature that surrounds us!
Reservations are mandatory.
In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 300 m, there are no exposed sections.
The route may be subject to variations due to the presence of ice/snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, headlamp possibly with a steady red light.
COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person.
