Friday 12 August 2022 from 20.00 to 23.30
DESTINATION: Piana di Marcesina- Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
The fresh air and the distance from the towns make Marcesina the ideal place to admire the spectacle of the most famous swarm of shooting stars: the Perseids.
Walking in the majestic plain, we will often look up to the sky to look for cars and meteors, while the guide and the amateur astronomer will tell you about the stars, the huts, the planets, the woods ... We will reach the small shrine among the pastures dedicated to the saint of August 10: people have always been looking for an explanation for this spectacle that the sky gives us in the middle of summer, and for a long time there was the idea that even the sky mourned the sad end of Lorenzo, so much so as to call this rain of light, Tears of San Lorenzo.
