Guided nature walk and the legends of the Seven Communes Plateau
On Sunday, August 30, 2020, the Pro Loco in Mezzaselva,in collaboration with Asiago Guide, organizes an exciting excursion to the caves of the Stonhaus.
Sometimes homes of creatures as good as fairies, other times fearsome dwellings of orcs and witches... The caves and the numerous chasms of the Plateau have always fascinated man, but they are above all a unique karst show.
The Stonhaus is certainly one of the most spectacular thanks to the thin stone bridge that nature has left in the millennial work that created it.
The excursion will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.,through the woods, home to black peaks, squirrels and several ungulates, but also place where the SelvArt Parkis located, where Art and Nature meet....

PROBLEM: We assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is spread between mountain trails and dirt roads. The uphill difference is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
FROM PORT WITH SÉ: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack like dried fruit.
COST: guided excursion: 5 euros.
