DESTINATION: Melette in front - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
We start on foot from Melette to reach the wide pastures of Malga Meletta Davanti from where we will enjoy an incredibly exciting 360-degree panorama from the plain to the Alps.
Step by step our view can then begin to scrutinize the majestic beech trees that have watched over these slopes for centuries ... as beautiful as they are bizarre!
These are the Puche (Cimbrian term to define the beech), these are centuries-old trees that have a very particular history and that the guide will make you discover.
In the woods, step by step, you return to the cars still a little amazed by the extraordinary atmosphere that surrounds these trees and at the same time regenerated by the experience in Nature!
Reservations are required.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 4 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route develops between dirt roads, mountain paths. The difference in altitude uphill is less than 400 m, there are no exposed sections.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
COST: 20€, for the guided excursion. 10€ for children under 15 years.
MEETING POINT: 9.30 am at the parking lot of the Melette ski lifts, Gallium (VI)
