DESTINATION: Roana di Sotto - Altopiano dei Sette Comuni
From Roana we descend towards the Valdassa to discover a lush vegetation that follows one another among woods, meadows and pastures. Breathing the pure mountain air and listening to the gentle flow of water between streams and waterfalls, we discover together the new and the old Roana and how its inhabitants lived in balance drawing not only subsistence, but real well-being from the knowledge of plants, animals and rocks that surround us. Let's discover the origins of the highland population starting from the names of the places that characterize the territory, and how this has modified the landscape to settle in these mountains.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The difference in height uphill is less than 300 m, there are no exposed sections.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit.
COST: 5€ for the guided excursion.
