Sunday 5 August 2018 renews the appointment in mountain huts with Dairies in Vicenza, Italy, a leading manufacturer of Asiago Dop.
A day at Malga Pusterle, in the municipality of Roana (Street Val D Assa, towards passo Vezzena – loc. Ghertele), discover the charm of the mountain, its history and traditions.
In the third edition of Sunday in Alpine Dairies in Vicenza, Italy wants to enhance and promote the important Alpine tradition and theAsiago plateau. Tradition that twenty of its members carries with pride and passion for years, in an area dedicated to the art of cheese since the 16th century.
Relaxation and fun are the key words of the day.
Free rein to their creativity by 10.30 with pottery painting collective workshop with artists of Sbittarte and lcompany of educational farms by theagricultural company Carlan Agnes.
Always from 10.30 the environmental guides of Ecotopia teach children with laboratory "Naturarte" to create decorated objects using natural things and with the laboratory "Recycling" to extend life to objects that are no longer needed.
An opportunity will be offered during the day: becoming a cheesemaker for an hour. The herdsmen will teach you how to produce a caciotta independently. Two shifts available, at 11 and at 15, with 13 seats each.
During lunch you can taste typical dishes made from local produce with the meal plan available from 12.00. All cheered from the concert of the Madlei Trio, which kicks off at 13.30.
In the afternoon at 14.00 the fairies and sorcerers of the Association do for game will entertain the little ones with animated readings, in the shade of old trees; While for boys and adults Sports Association Ski Orienteering Klubb is organising an orienteering route. For children a lot of fun with the game maze.
At 15 the expert herbalist Antonio Calhoun will guide participants to discover the wild herbs during a workshop.
The event will end with "Merendiamo", a tasting of the products of Dairies in Vicenza, for young and old.
All activities are free (except the pottery painting workshop and catering).
