Artists at work with the creation of sacred figures on the steps of the Cathedral of Santa Giustina di Enego, on the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities
On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June 2020, Enego's pastoral unit organizes the special event "The Art of the Madonnari for Corpus Christi", to celebrate the Solennity of the Holy Body and Blood of Christ.
During the two days, at the steps of the Holy Justin Cathedral of Enego, Michela Bogoni and Federico Pillan,award-winning Madonnari Masters,will work to decorate the staircase with sacred depictions intended to celebrate and honor the Holy Sacrament.
It will be a unique opportunity to see these two fantastic artists at work,while creating with the chalk wonderful sacred images.
Weather permitting, the two artists will work both days, until 6 p.m. on Sunday,before mass.
The Mass of Corpus Christi will be celebrated at 18.00,on the outer churchyard of the Cathedral, with the possibility of being followed by the entire complex of the church staircase and People's Square.
At the end, the Holy Sacrament will pass among the faithful and the celebration will end with the solemn Eucharistic Blessing.

📍 The rules within the Church also apply to outdoor celebrations (use of mask and interpersonal distance of at least 1 meter should always be respected)
📍To sit you can use the steps of the square or bring yourself from home a stool or a folding chair; however, some chairs (obviously sanitized) will be made available
In case of rain, the program may change depending on the weather.
12/6 UPDATE
It is announced that, despite the uncertain weather forecast for the weekend, the event "Madonnari for Corpus Christi " will still take place throughout the day of Saturday, June 13 on the steps of the Cathedral.
For Sunday, uncertainty remains as to whether the work can continue, while the solemn Eucharistic celebration of 6 p.m. is confirmed in any case.
