Historical-naturalistic guided tour for the exhibition dedicated to the centenary of the battle of Ortigara-June 10, 2017
Saturday, June 10, 2017, Asiago Guide organizes an interesting guided tour on the occasion of the centenary of the Battle of Ortigara.
On 10 June 1917 left the Italian attack. The names of the places are a reminder that these hills were trampled only by shepherds and their flocks: pastures transformed valleys of tears, where thousands of men died. Monte Lozze, Monte Caldiera, Pozzo della Scala. These are just some of the Italian positions cut between our mountains to meet the Winterstellung, whose Mount Ortigara was its peak before descending in Valsugana.
During the hike, the guides will tell you all about men, armaments, logistics and dynamics that here took place exactly 100 years ago.
