' The dark night of Asiago, Saturday August 24, 2013

Saturday, August 24, 2013 there will be one of the most important events for Asiago andseven Municipalities Plateau: the dark night.

As usual, the lights of old town at 21.00 hours will be turned off and the city will be illuminated only by torches and candles that will create anenchanted and evocative atmosphere.

THE DARK NIGHT IN DETAIL

• 17.30 Hours Piazzetta Monte Zebio: GiocAsiago children's workshop in collaboration with the cultural Association Sportive art.science.movement CASE.

• Hours 21.00 Lights out of the Center and lighting up the candles.

• Hours 21.00 Evening at the Museum opening the prisons with the exhibition titled "Andy Warhol". Entrance fee.

• 21.00 Hours Evening of opening Educational naturalistic Museum "Patrizio Rigoni" up to 23.00 hours.
• Hours 21.00 Piazza Duomo, the public gardens and the main streets of downtown, will define the stage area of the theater of night. The streets of downtown performance artists of the night.

• Hours 21.00 Piazza Duomo "dance of comets", curated by Elvira De Poli and Luca nobles (Planetarium of Padua), music with "Luca Ferraris collective jazz band" with the extraordinary participation of Dancer Ian Charleson. In collaboration with Porsche Italy.

• Hours 21.00Piazzetta San Rocco: guided observation of stars using telescopes.

• Hours 21.00 Piazzetta Monte Zebio: "mountains tell of Orcs, and basilisks" reading of legends and fairy tales with projection of images by Prof.ssa Paola hammer.

• 21.30 Hours Palazzo del Turismo Millepini: "the future of Copernicus" in case of clear skies, direct connection with the Astronomic Observatory of Cima Ekar observing to follow one night at the telescope Copernicus. Astronomers and engineers will guide the public with explanations and clarifications on the projected images, live by INAF Padova Astronomical Observatory, home of Asiago and Department of Astronomy University of Padua. In case of bad weather will be screened archive footage narrated by astronomers.

• 23.00 Hours Gardens of Piazza Carli: Lucky Baloon launch

• 23.30 Hours Piazza Carli, gran final Night show entitled "Black Beauties" by the theatrical company "Crown International Dance Theatre".

In restaurants joining the candlelit dinner based on typical products.
