The traditional event plateau de "the Festival of mountain herbs" is ready to take off!
From Friday 17 June to Sunday June 19, 2016, Slow Food in collaboration with the municipality of Asiago, the Group restaurateurs of the Asiago plateau, Coldiretti Asiago Vicenza organizes the event dedicated to herbs this year get to 5per Edition.
An event that in past years has encountered great success, attracting to itself and a large number of participants. A unique opportunity to learn all about herbs from our territory.
From the lawn to the table to enjoy flowers and plants of the plateau and discover unique aromas and flavors, as well as insight into the rich beneficial nutrition and medicinal value.
Excellent dishes prepared by professional chefs, workshops, books, hiking and more for a 3-day event not to be missed!

18.00 Hours- Presentation of the book "the flowers of TEN AIDES – living studies and moral processes in plants" by R. Rossi, Naturopath eneghese, at the Council Chamber of the town of Asiago. This will be followed by a buffet by the hotel school. Admission free.
SATURDAY 18 JUNE 2016
Hours 9.30- "Andar per herbs", guided excursion to discover the medicinal and aromatic plants of our area with herbalists Antonio and Lisa Calhoun.
Duration: 3 hours approximately. Meeting point: in front of the War Museum in Canove. Participation fee: 5 € per person.

Hours 13.00-Packed wild herbs and local produce with the companions of the hike at the Restaurant at the old station in Canove. Euro 28.00, reservation required at .

From 8.30 till 19.30 - Piazza g. Carli to Asiago: herb market and typical products: herbs, garden plants, local cheeses, honey, distilled beverages, teas, cosmetics and much more ...
The square will also be enlivened by various initiatives: composition of flowers, herbs, tintòrie, children's activities, herbal teas and biscotti tasting.
