The Festival of mountain herbs, Asiago plateau-31 May 2 June 2013
Slow Food under the patronage of the town of Asiago organizes, from Friday 31 May 2013 to Sunday 2 June 2013, the "Festival of mountain herbs".
' is a unique opportunity to know the herbs of our territories and understand its value; also at the table.
PROGRAM:
FRIDAY 31 MAY '
Ore 15.30-"Andar per herbs": guided excursion to discover the medicinal and aromatic plants of our area with the herbalists Antonio and Lisa Calva. Duration: 3 hours approximately.
Inscriptions (euro 5) and meeting point at the car park of the Baita Val Maddarello.
Hours 21.00- slideshow alimurgiche herbs of our mountains, at the Hall of Masks in the community montana with the herbalists Antonio and Lisa Calva.
SATURDAY 1 JUNE
9.30 a.m.- visit the orto dei semplici, the orchard of old varieties of apples and pears in Via Busa 106 with Antonio Calva. Duration: 3 Hours approximately. Inscriptions (euro 5) and haunt in Via Busa 106 in Asiago.
Hours 13.00- lunch of wild herbs and typical products of the territory at the Restaurant Des Alpes Residence with the herbalist Antonio Calva. (35 euro). For reservations phone .
Hours 15.00-cooking with herbs of spring at the hotel management school. For reservations call euro)- maximum 15 persons. Duration: 3 Hours approximately.
Ore 16.00-opening and inauguration of the exhibition on medicinal and aromatic herbs at the Palazzo Turismo Millepini.
Hours 18.00-projection of the documentary "nature cure-the strength of primitive plants" by Michael Wachtler Lux Cinema. Followed by discussion with the Director Michael Wachtler and Ermanno Olmi. Admission free.
Hours 20.30- dinner of wild herbs and typical products of the territory at the Restaurant at the old station in Canove with the herbalist Antonio Calva (35 euro). For reservations phone .
SUNDAY, JUNE 2
Hours 10.00- Meeting at the Hotel La Baitina to Kaberlaba entitled: "alimurgiche Herbs, gardens and ancient brolo". After the greetings of the authorities: Ermanno Olmi, Antonio Calva, Andrea Sbarbati , University of Verona, Ulderico Bernardi of the University Ca ' Foscari of Venice, Chiara Centofanti (farmer of vegetables), Giorgio Rigoni, a former Professor at the Istituto Agrario di Bassano, Carlo Petrini.
Hours 13.00- lunch of wild herbs and typical products of the territory with the rapporteurs at the Hotel la Baitina (35 euro). For reservations phone .
The market square in Asiago throughout the day with agricultural products, prepared by Coldiretti.
Ore 16.00- guided tasting of cheeses paired with wines by Slow Food 8 Municipalities Plateau-Komoinen 8.
