A major event is organized by Culture & music for the evening of Monday, July 14, at 21, in s. Giustina to Roana.
An expected and welcome return to Liudmila Georgievskaya and Thomas Schwan, pianists, who will present, in a two-piano concert, a program definitely of great impact, that exalts the genius of Mozart.
The Symphony No. 40 in g minor and no. 41 in c major "Jupiter", presented in transcription for two pianos of the German Otto Singer, constitute absolute leadership of symphonic genre and was object of veneration by Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms.
Were made in quick succession in the summer of 1788, at a time of great fecundity for the composer.
In both works Mozart achieves seamless integration between the vertical dimension (harmony) and horizontal (counterpoint), between structure and detail, winning as maximum exponent of the classical style and unmatched balance model. The version for two pianos, while not being able to return the variety of orchestral colors, put in perfect structural qualities, emphasize dynamics and drama of two jobs.

Liudmila Georgievskaya, Russian pianist, has performed as a soloist and with orchestra in Russia, Italy, United States, France, England, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Panama. Is the winner of numerous prizes in piano competitions, on which stands the first prize at the Liszt-Garrison International Piano Competition in Baltimore (USA) in 2009. His performances have been broadcast on radio and television programs in Russia, Italy, United States, Uzbekistan and the Vatican City. His musical education is under the leadership of Tatiana Galitskaya and Liudmila Roshina, both pupils of the legendary pianist and composer Samuil Feinberg. After graduating with honors at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, graduated from the Academy in Rome and Santa Kunj wins a scholarship to study with Joaquín Achúcarro at Southern Methodist University in Dallas (USA), where he currently teaches. At the same time, thanks to a second scholarship, is studying for a PhD at University of North Texas. In 2013 comes to Odradek Records his first CD with music by Beethoven and Schumann, followed by numerous rave reviews on magazines and international newspapers.

Thomas Schwan (Milan, 1985), composer and pianist, has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Italy, United States, Russia and the Netherlands. Diploma in piano with top marks cum laude at the Conservatorio di Vicenza, has gotten important recognitions such as the Diploma of honor and the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Chigiana Music Academy, as well as numerous prizes in international competitions. In 2007 he won a scholarship and moved to Dallas, Texas (USA), where he graduated from Southern Methodist University in the class of Joaquín Achúcarro. His music is of growing interest for its lyrical quality and original research in the relation between time, sound and meaning. Recent engagements include performances of his works in the seasons of Dallas Chamber Music Society and the Meadows Wind Ensemble, which has required two pieces for small orchestra, and collaborations with musicians specialized in new music such as violinists Matt Albert (founder of the Group Eighth Blackbird) and Joseph Puglia (first violin of the Asko |Schoenberg Ensemble Amsterdam). Next year will also see his song performed by Voices of Change, one of the leading ensembles of new music in the United States.
