Guided tour the plateau at war-"rain of fire on Strong"-by Verena "Plateau" Guides in the plateau of Asiago and 7 Municipalities
GREAT HIGHLAND WAR REVIEW:
By Verena Fort on 24 May 1915, left two shots ringing, metallic, lacerating that crossed the sky singing the war cry! The Italy enter into war against Austria's former ally. The Spitz Verle responds and defends the Strong Verena firing 20 shots but nothing too short shots not reaching the plateau, ruler of the place up too high!
The situation at the Fort Verle was not among the best and the Giebermann officer having grossed approximately 130 shots from 280 mm gave the order to abandon the Fort. But there was indeed a need to make such a choice?
HIKING PROGRAM
Scheduled departure at 09.00 from the Bar at the station near the entrance of the square of the ice stadium of Asiago.

The Association "Plateau" is composed by local guides who operate on the territory of the plateau of the seven Municipalities for many years. Membership in place by Assembly components ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are mountain professionals recognized and entered in the register of the Vicenza province; they propose to accompany groups of people hiking and guided visits in the territory, as required by L.R. n. 33 of 11/4/2002 and according to the laws of albi professional fan part.
