The play "TRENCHES: SPRING AWAKENING" by and with Andrea Plumes, Asiago, September 3, 2016
Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Teatro Eliseo di Asiago will be staged the play "Trenches: Spring Awakening," a theatrical storytelling by and with Andrea Plumes that tells the history and deeds of a soldier of the great war.
The Boxer theatre company, which will be staged in collaboration with Woodstock Theater, will be performed at the Teatro Millepini and will begin at 21.00 hours.
Through the theatrical representation of Plumes, you will have the opportunity to reflect on the events that started on their knees a hundred years ago our lands and the great sacrifice that the great war cost to our people.
TRENCHES: SPRING AWAKENING
TRENCHES: Spring Awakening tells the exploits of a soldier during the first world war, his voluntary enlistment, experience in the conflict, the disillusionment, the bond with teammates, the fragility of the human condition. The young soldier protagonist becomes a kind of supranational antihero, who gives voice to all those that in the trenches they experienced the unspeakable, but even the youthful energy to the struggle and life, "laughing like idiots".
Storytelling of Plumes, accompanied by the guitar by George Garcia (Piccola Bottega Baltazar) from images created by Vittorio Bustaffa and collaboration directed by Marco Gnaccolini and John David, is epic, often comical, sometimes touching. A voice and a body that no tricks of scene they manage with freedom of speech and imagination to create characters and stories that parade as vivid images in the mind of the listener. In addition to acting full of Plumes, staging is also that Dumbledore pictures by Vittorio Bustaffa, able to reflect on the actions, the emotions of the characters of the story in an attempt to transfiguring them Visual situations that only the gesture of painting can produce.
In their words, sounds and images in the past is a stage on which to stage what is useful and necessary in the present, because the memory belongs to the living, says the preacher, and not to the dead.
