"The spit for the plateau" in Canove-4 January 2019

Friday 4 January 2019, at the Palazzetto of Canove (former sports field), there will be a wonderful initiative in support of the territory: "the spit for the plateau"!

Lunch from 12.30 and 19.00 for dinner, you can enjoy the renowned quail skewer prepared by the Confraternita della Quaglia by Lever. But that's not all: even pork, cooked strictly to spit and accompanied by the unfailing polenta "shame" and French fries.
The dishes will be available to take away, taking the Bowl from home, so avoid using containers that should be thrown in the trash.

The entire proceeds of the day (minus expenses) will be paid to the Regency of the seven communes Union to contribute to the projects of environmental restoration, reforestation and protection of public assets.

"I think it's important to be vigilant about what has happened ," said Daniel Sackey, President of the fraternity – and do something concrete to help restore the environment. It will take many years, but if everyone contributes in some way, the weight of this huge disaster will be felt less. The event has received the patronage of the province of Vicenza, the initiative was welcomed by the President of the Regency of the seven communes Emanuele Munari and by the President of the province, Raj Rajendra.  "The bad weather , said Rajendra, ensuring their presence at the event- has bequeathed, along with damages, also a feeling of dismay at what has happened in our mountains, but strong and determined and that sense of community and solidarity that distinguishes us from Vicenza will be born again and return it to its former glory the angles now tortured our Highlands. I am sure that the call to join the charity event will be picked up by a large number of citizens and I will be more than happy to be personally present at the event, thus witnessing the total closeness to the peoples and local administrators affected bydisasters "
