The Walk of the centenary, on sites of the great war from Asiago to Marmolada-July 2015
The great war leaves the Asiago plateau and in the surrounding mountains and memories that still bear the signs of battles.
To commemorate those who have given their lives during the first world war and the countries involved in the conflict, Cai Veneto and theANA are organizing "The Walk of the centenary".
The "centenary Journey" provides walking and visiting the sites of the great war in which were cruel and famous battles, as theOrtigara and Cauriol, and others prepared to battle, who were part of the yellow line, where it was never fought.

SATURDAY 4 JULY 2015

Asiago, a day dedicated to the late component of Cai Vittorio Corà, will honor the fallen to Military Shrine.
SUNDAY, 5 JULY
- Sunday July 5 by groups of Military Shrine Leiten will bring to Monte Ortigara where they will be welcomed in the afternoon from the Cai choir in an event of great beauty.
TUESDAY, 7 JULY
Tuesday, July 7, the groups will travel the road of genius, and Coldarco Strong Lisser.
WEDNESDAY, 8 JULY
Wednesday 8 July will see the participants committed to Mount Castelletto, Fierollo, Fork ridge of Friar and Val Rava.
FRIDAY, 10 JULY
Friday, it will rise 10 to The Executioner.
SATURDAY, 11 JULY
Saturday 11 July touches to Mount Cauriol.
MONDAY, JULY 13
Monday, July 13 , Alvis's Steps and walls.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 15
Wednesday, July 15 , Col saddle Roit of Ciot and Folega Fork.

Saturday, July 18, the group moved to the San Pellegrino pass for overnight
SUNDAY, JULY 19
Final day to the San Pellegrino pass, Red Fork and Malga Ciapela.
The purpose of the Journey is to bring the visitor into contact with the civilian population and militarized workers who contributed to defenses of the Po Valley by following the "yellow line", a line for it was the "hardiness" line to repel any attack by large enemy forces.
The "centenary Journey" was alleged weapon associations and mountaineering, as well as the Patronage of the Regione Veneto and the Regional Commission "great war" Centenary.
The initiative also has the patronage of the town of Asiago and the other 7 communes of Dear Regency.
Themunicipal administration of Asiago is honored to host such a significant initiative in the opening year of the centenary of the great war.

THE YELLOW LINE
The "yellow line" was designed by staff of the Italian Army as hardiness, able to repel any attack by large enemy forces.
It was built using the strong pre-existing Agordino and Cadore and building, with the decisive contribution of the local population, hundreds of galleries and hundreds of kilometres of trenches. All these works were interconnected by an efficient network of roads, mule tracks and paths, mostly passable, that are part of the skeleton now hiking Dolomites.
USEFUL TIPS
All participants should put mountain sole, be equipped with backpack, escort ofwater and food, flashlights , electric helmet.
