On the eve of Christmas of 1914 , Scottish and French soldiers stop German hostilities for a few hours and toast all together. Several formations of the Western front, although they are not authorised, declare a truce and meet peacefully soldiers in no man's land: even if a soldier wearing a German uniform, Scottish or French is always a man with a family, feelings, hopes.
