Evening of deepening by the ENPA Asiago, Eukyion and Daniel Zovi on the Asiago plateau
Monday, 29 August 2016 at 20.30 at the Council Hall of the municipality of Gallium, held an important evening study in collaboration withENPA Asiago,Eukyion and Daniele Zovi entitled "the Wolf, the Lynx and the bear in the Alps East Centre".
In recent years we have seen a sharp increase of herbivorous animals in Alpine territories. Everything was bound to attract their predators, carnivorous animals. Hence we can see absolutely memorable events in recent years and once term can be used about historical significance, a return of bears, wolves and lynxes in our districts, from where they had been driven out of a couple of centuries.
ENPA
TheEnte Nazionale Protezione Animali (E.N.P.A.) is the oldest and most important protectionist Association of Italy. Founded by Giuseppe Garibaldi in 1871, the E.N.P.A. carries out its activities in all areas for protection, on animal welfare and protection.
The institution is recognized by the Italian Ministry of environment in which National Association of environmental protection and has been a member of the following bodies:
- Ministry of agriculture: National Technical Committee Animal Hunting
- Ministry for cultural heritage: Film Review Board
- Ministry of health: Avian Influenza Task Force Committee and stray dogs.
