The theatre "Theatre Winter" to Asiago.
Tuesday, December 18, 2012 will host the show number three of this review, programmed and coordinated by the Pro Loco Asiago and Saba.
The theatrical company "Image Theater" will perform on the stage of Teatro Millepini of Asiago with the show "Il barbiere di Siviglia".
The ' event will begin, as usual, to 21:00 hours.
" Image Theater Company " with this show won the National Itinerant Festival "Premio Marcello Mascherini" di Pordenone-Year 2010.
The 2012/2013 review is planning numerous events to this issue given the success and the appreciations received last year.
SHOW " IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA "
How can a Commedia dell'Arte troupe have the insolence to stage a classical work as "Il Barbiere di Siviglia"?
We all remember the opening of Rossini: ".. .the ran the lera, ran the there."
There is, sometimes, singing in the shower "Figaro qua, Figaro là"? Yes, this work belongs to, surely, our historical and social culture. The most famous Arias were used in all situations: cinema, music, television ... and it's up to us today, with our twenty years of experience, to "desecrate" a monument of Italian operatic repertoire.
"Il Barbiere di Siviglia" is a light and funny. Already writing the libretto (dated 1816 and originally titled "Almaviva, or the useless precaution"), we recognize immediately under the guise of Bartolo our Pantalone de ' Needy: miser, suspicious, eternally in love with a much younger girl.
And Figaro, resembles our friendly Arlecchino, always ready to sow intrigue around him? The count of Almaviva reminds us much Florindo, enamored of "Harlequin servant of two masters" and Rosina is the classic young love.
Don Basilio, music teacher, Wiseguy and corruptible, strangely resembles our bellied Doctor Balanzone.
As there is congenial since our inception, and not least for the preparation of "I Promessi sposi", the libretto of "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" written by Sterbini, is nothing more than a text, or rather, a pre-text; apparent reason that we put in front of us to hide the true reason for our choice ...
you know already, basically we do not conceal our intimate motivations that are fun and entertain the public, rereading the opera by Gioacchino Rossini in our own way, with our "savoir-faire", with autoderisione, without complexes, without neglecting the singing and musical side, avoid confrontation with la divina Callas and colleagues, by virtue of the one advantage not to be singers but only ... actors!
