Theatrical show "Who told you you you were naked?" in Canove - 16 July 2019

Funny play staged in Canove, on the Asiago Plateau

On the evening of Tuesday, July 16, 2019,at the Teatro Hall in Canove,will be staged the cute theatrical show "Who told you you youwere naked?", by Pier Benedetto Bertoli.

Performed by the company Teatro delle Lune,directed by RobertoConte, the show will begin at 21.00.

WHO HAVE YOU SAID WHAT ARE YOU NAKED?

It is the question God asked Adam when he saw him wandering around Earth's Paradise with a fig leaf placed in front of him, to cover what had suddenly become shame to hide. Whatever the meaning of this passage of the bible, since then sex has become a taboo, "and such will remain for omnia saecula saeculorum".
Yet the protagonist of this biting and derisive comedy, a woman too long marginalized, wants at all costs to break this taboo; to do this he devises a machination against her husband in an attempt to "throw a rock into their marital dead sea". It involves a friend, who of the same taboo - she is abundantly freed - so that she seduces her the consort and be able to have the pretext, in turn, to betray him with an awey young woman whom she has become infatuated with. With the entry of the other characters, however, everything gets complicated; an increasingly rapid pace, with a series of misunderstandings and paradoxical situations, leads us towards the final reflection on human weaknesses.
A funny, erotic and burlesque composition, which wants to show off the vices of a society where the characters turn into protagonists of a pochade, even if new and modern. An intrigue, in which Bertoli engages us to make us laugh at burning topics such as sex and sexual liberation, making them funny but never vulgar.
