Show for the centenary of the feats of arms of Monte Zebio-Asiago-16 September 2017

Saturday 16 September 2017, the group "Sgrafalopa - the storytellers of Montello" will stage the Show "thel Piave whispered-stories of soldiers in the great war" on the occasion of the Centenary of the Feats of arms of Monte Zebio.

The event is scheduled at 20.45 hours, at the Teatro Eliseo di Asiago.

The show, in addition to the company of Sgrafalopa, will star the Chorus "Boci of Gaddhura" in Tempio Pausania.

It will be an emotional night, remembering all the dead and the facts that, a hundred years ago, shook the plateau and the Whole Italy.

THE SGRAFALOPA-STORYTELLER OF MONTELLO

the group " SGRAFALOPA" was founded in 1997 to Biadene di Montebelluna to revive in his representations the storyteller who were witnesses and interpreters of life and collective history and gave show squares and markets Turning from country to country. Speaker culture and information were among the people who, in times of poor cultural diffusion, recognized in these characters contact elements and information exchange with the rest of the world.

The Group of "SGRAFALOPA", tells and sings only in Venetian language with characteristic teli paintings, stories and facts of life used to be, with the themes of the daily life of the common people lived in the home, on the road, or in taverns and obtained from personal recollections or oral history collections between countries of the Montello and the foothills, to pass on the rich culture of our grandparents to rediscover the values that gave them the strength to fight and withstand the harsh daily life and that now it's a part of our history and our culture.

The name "SGRAFALOPA" literally "GRAFFIAMUSCHIO" was originally a typical nickname with which they were laughed at the poorest among the "bisnent" who lived in countries on the slopes of Montello, which the Group adopted in compliance with its sources to promote the traditions and roots; in 2007 became cultural association as the "SGRAFALOPA storytellers of MONTELLO" widening its activities in theatrical performance, with a group of actors who together with storytellers are trying to revive the splendour of actors wandering, setting up their own lyrics and music performances in Italy on language.
