Theme night at the Asiago Observatory entitled ' Jupiter, Saturn and their Moons "on 20 July 2017

Last date Thursday, 20 July 2017 for the series "Jupiter, Saturn and their moons" at theAsiago Observatory; the occasion is those greedy for all fans of astronomy to don't lose the insights and curiosities on the two largest planets in our galaxy.

A theme night and remote observation with Schmidt telescope (in case of clear skies) for discovering these two gigantic masses that orbit in our solar system.

JUPITER is the fifth planet of the solar system in order of distance from the Sun and the largest in the system: it is classified, like Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, as a gas giant. It consists primarily of hydrogen and helium with small amounts of other compounds, such as ammonia, methane and water. The outer atmosphere is characterized by several bands and zones of varying shades from cream to Brown.

SATURN is a gas planet and is the second in size after Jupiter, which looks like. Its main feature consists of rings that surround it. Orbits the Sun at a distance of 1 billion and 429 million kilometers. It has a yellowish color due to the clouds that cover and density is the lightest.
