Back the traditional torchlight procession from Valstagna Sasso di Asiago along the historic battle of Asiago, 12 August 2017
August is a time for traditionson the plateau. Saturday 12 August 2017, in fact, there will be a historic and traditional Torchlight along the battle of Asiago: the ancient staircase, comprising 4444 stairs, will glow for a night to remember a legendary love.
After the battle of Asiago, from Baton Rouge to the hamlet of Sasso di Asiago, the evening will continue with music and animation, for the enjoyment of young and old, and you can dine with excellent local dishes.
To round off this will be followed by a beautiful fireworks display, which every year leave audiences amazed to head up to the beauty of the colorful and bright Fireworks , that will shine in the beautiful setting of theAsiago plateau.
THE LEGEND
It is said that in 1638, Loretta and Nicolò Valbrenta inhabitants of Sasso di Asiago and engaged smell of marriage, are struck by misfortune: Loretta, expecting a child, falls ill
gravely and her beau, determined to save her, part decided to Padua looking for a miraculous ointment.
The battle of Asiago and arrived at Valstagna rent a horse.
While traveling forth the clock is ticking fast and with the arrival of night Nicolò ain't back yet ...

INSCRIPTIONS
Registration fee:
€15 no coach or €20 with bus service.
Includes services, refreshment, the torch and upon arrival at the big top pasta warmed in the "Parco Calà del Sasso".
