Friday, August 12, 2022, at 9:30 am, a walk and guided tour of the MalgAsiago Educational Farm in the company of Asiago Guide awaits you.

After a short walk through the districts and fragrant meadows we arrive at the MalgAsiago Educational Farm. Here it will be a garden of colorful and fragrant flowers to catch our attention. We will discover together their different alimurgic and officinal uses through a sensory experience. From these plants the bees continue to draw day after day nectar and pollen for the hive. These small insects have a lot to teach man: they are rational, hardworking, organized in their spaces and in their functions... and just like man they live in a delicate balance with the environment, which if altered, quickly degenerates the whole society. After a short walk to understand the fundamentals of biodiversity, we will use all five senses to get to know and meet these little friends.

INFORMATION

Reservations are required. 

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 1 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The path that leads to the MalgAsiago Educational Farm follows paved roads with little traffic and a mountain path . The difference in height uphill is less than 100 m, there are no exposed sections.

TO TAKE WITH YOU: hiking shoes, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit.

COST: 5€ for the visit to the educational farm.

MEETING: 9.30 am at the headquarters of the pro loco of Mezzaselva - Piazza Cimbri, 21, 36010 Mezzaselva VI, Italy. A car transfer with your own vehicle may be required.
