META: the places of Mario Rigoni Stern - Asiago Plateau 7 Municipalities (VI)

We propose a literary and experiential excursion to explore the places that Mario Rigoni Stern described in his works. 

The Plateau is considered the silent protagonist of the writer's various books, and with this excursion we want to involve all the senses starting from hearing: we read a few passages, smell the air of the woods, observe the signs of the presence of wildlife, remember the mountain traditions. 

All for a pleasant guided experience in the woods and districts near what was the house he loved so much, as simple as a beehive.....

Reservations are mandatory. 

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2  on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunglasses, hat, gloves.

COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.

Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person

In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.

MEETING POINT: 9.30 a.m. near Asiago. 

Precise information on the meeting place will be communicated to those booked the day before the event. 

We start on foot from the meeting point.

The route will be established a few days before the event based on weather conditions and the presence of ice/snow.
