GOAL: Piana di Marcesina - Valmaron - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
A night snowshoe hike through the Piana di Marcesina, also known as the Little Finland of Italy, leads us through an enchanted landscape.
Our gaze here will be able to sweep between vast scenarios covered by a blanket of snow, the profiles of the mountains and the celestial vault.
Thanks to the low light pollution present, if the night is clear we will be able to immerse ourselves among the myriad of stars, observing the Milky Way and discovering many scientific curiosities about our galaxy and the solar system. The guide will also entertain you with exciting stories about the mythological events related to the winter constellations and naturalistic and historical curiosities about the landscape that surrounds us.
At the Rifugio Barricata the warmth of the fireplace awaits us and a typical dinner with an à la carte menu consisting of first course, second course with side dish, tasting of dessert, water, wine and coffee.
The return will be done with an adventurous snowmobile tour.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route runs through mountain paths and dirt roads.
The difference in height is less than 220 m, there are no exposed sections.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the hike, a small snack such as dried fruit, headlamp possibly with a steady red light.
WARNING: It is advisable to dress in layers and to have warm clothing, also recommended a blanket, for the return by snowmobile.
COST: €60 for the guided snowshoe hike, dinner at the Barricata Refuge (including the above) and return by snowmobile.
Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person.
MEETING POINT: 4.00 p.m. at the parking lot of the Valmaron Refuge, Enego (VI)
