DESTINATION: Puche a Gallio - Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)
After an ascent through the fir woods, you arrive at the large pasture of Malga Meletta Davanti to enjoy an exceptional view of the plateau.
We follow the tracks of the wild animals that live on these mountains to arrive in a very particular forest, where majestic beech trees live, the Puche (Cimbrian term for beech),
Here you can perceive how man's life is intrinsically connected with the nature that surrounds him. The elements of the landscape tell the story of people and woods that were, are and will be...
We eat a packed lunch regenerated by the sunlight in a point with a view towards boundless panoramas.
After this restorative excursion, we return to the pasture to the cars still a little amazed by the particular structure of these trees, so unique, which can give a mountain of emotions!
Reservations are mandatory.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 4 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present particular technical difficulties, it is characterized by the presence of mountain paths and dirt roads. There are no exposed sections, the difference in height is less than 400 m.
WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU: MOUNTAIN BOOTS, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1L), possibly a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, PACKED LUNCH! Trekking poles are recommended.
COST: €20 per person for the guided excursion, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
