GOAL: Piana di Marcesina - Asiago plateau (VI)
The plain of Marcesina, also known as the little Finland of Italy, is a place where time seems to have stopped, a place that knows how to fascinate those who stop to observe, especially in winter.
Snowshoeing among the casoni, the open and boundless snowy pastures that offer exceptional views of the Alps, allows you to enjoy a sense of unparalleled freedom and to feel like explorers of a landscape with a history and nature to be discovered!
Reservations are required.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunglasses, cap, gloves.
COST: 15€ for the guided excursion. 5€ for children under 15 years.
Possible snowshoes and poles rental: € 10 per person.
In case there is not enough snow we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
