Traditional Christmas tree lighting at Asiago, 6 December 2015

In the elegant setting of the squares of the old town, this year dressed up with gold and red, the colors of the city as well as the traditional colors of Christmas, Asiago gives welcome you officially to Feast with the traditional and expected big Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Sunday 6 December at 17.00 hours, starting from San Rocco, the Troika with Santa Claus will reach Risorgimento Square II, accompanied by children and the Folk Band "Magnifica Comunità di Folgaria" that will brighten the atmosphere with songs and traditional melodies .

In Piazza Risorgimento II will take place the magical moment ofturning on the big Christmas tree, whose flashing lights will race with the cascade of fireworks from the Bell Tower of the Town Hall.

Followed by the Christmas carols of the choir of the children of the Istituto Comprensivo Statale di Asiago and cups of hot chocolate for everyone, prepared by parents and educators of kindergarten Regina Margherita.

A perfect opportunity to soak up the Christmas atmosphere through the downtown streets and between the houses of traditional offering a wide range of local handicrafts and typical food.
