Sunday December 8, 2013 Asiago will host the traditional lighting of the Christmas tree on the occasion of the feast of the Immaculate Conception, to report the arrival of the Christmas holidays.

The ceremony will start at 17.00 hours.

The great tree was set up in Piazza Risorgimento II, opposite the Town Hall.

The Parade, which traditionally starts in Corso IV Novembre, will arrive in old town with Santa Claus on his old Troika accompanied by children of the Istituto Comprensivo Statale di Asiago.

In Piazza Risorgimento II, under theChristmas tree, the elementary school children in chorus will entertain and engage the attention of the audience chanting the traditional carols. Then, Asiago will host the presence of Social Folk Band Lavis who will perform handling and livening up the lit streets.

The most awaited moment, is scheduled for 17.30 hours, when children again starring, willturn on the imposing Christmas tree that seconds later will be accompanied by descent, from the Bell Tower of the Town Hall, a lovely waterfall of fireworks.

Subsequently, in its own Square will be a stand where it will be possible for participants, enjoy hot drinks.

This event is very heard to Asiago, mountain town where theChristmas spirit infects everyone, adults and children.
