As per tradition, also this year the lighting ceremony of the large Asiago Christmas tree will take place on the day of the feast of the Immaculate Conception, which projects us into the heart of the Christmas period.
On Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., the evocative parade will start from the Church of San Rocco which, accompanied by the Isola Vicentina Band and the Ski Instructors of the Ski Schools of the Plateau, will arrive in Piazza II Risorgimento.
Here, under the excited eyes of young and old, the most awaited moment will come to life: the lighting of the large Christmas tree and the magnificent cascade of fireworks from the bell tower of the Town Hall.
The evening will be made even more special by the Christmas carols of the children of the primary school of the Patrizio Rigoni Comprehensive Institute, who will help spread the spirit of Christmas with the sweetness of their young voices. To warm up the event there will also be hot chocolate for everyone, kindly offered by the Regina Margherita Kindergarten.
It will also be the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the Christmas atmosphere that is already breathed in the streets of the center and among the wooden houses of the "Christmas Gardens", the traditional Christmas markets of Asiago, which are among the most beautiful Christmas markets in Veneto and throughout Italy, with their wide choice of local handicrafts and typical agri-food products.
