DESTINATION: Monte Zovetto - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

The warm colors of the sunset will guide our ascent to Mount Zovetto from which it is possible to enjoy views of rare beauty over the Mountains and the central basin of the Asiago Plateau 7 Municipalities.

With an easy and unprecedented route we will visit the places of great battles, witnessed by monuments, observatories, fields torn up by bombs and trenches now restored. 

Sunset is also a great time to observe some of the wildlife such as hares, which become active at this time of the evening. 

We continue our circular route wrapped in the dark mountain sky, where the stars can shine in all their beauty and the constellations can reveal many stories from Greek and Roman mythology.

Reservations are mandatory. 

In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 300 m, there are no exposed sections.

The route may be subject to variations due to the presence of ice/snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, headlamp possibly with a steady red light.

COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.

Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person.

MEETING POINT: 4.00 p.m. near Cesuna. 

Precise information on the meeting place will be communicated to those booked the day before the event. 

We start on foot from the meeting place.
