DESTINATION: Magrè di Lavarone - (Trentino)

Depending on the snow present, it will be an excursion on foot or with the help of snowshoes.

Illuminated by the warm colors of the sunset, we will make a short easy circular route to admire the splendid scenery on which dominates the DI VAIA from its outpost above the village of Magrè. The great wooden work created by the sculptor Marco Martalar expresses an enormous power and inspires respect and reflection... made with hundreds of fragments left by the VAIA storm of 2018, the sculpture wants to depict the power of nature and remind man how it is part of the whole and not above everything.

Among pastures and fir woods we will wait for the nightfall to finally take a look at the celestial vault and appreciate its wonder!

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in altitude uphill is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.

TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots (NO MOON BOOT), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, cap, gloves, front pile.

COST: 15€ for the guided excursion. 5€ for children under 15 years.

Possible rental of snowshoes and poles: € 10 per person.

MEETING POINT: at 18:00 at the parking lot of the Rifugio Rivetta Localita' Malga Rivetta

follows transfer by car, with own vehicle of about 5 minutes.
