DESTINATION: Monte Zovetto- Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
The warm colors of the sunset will guide our ascent to Mount Zovetto from which you can enjoy views of rare beauty. With afacile and unprecedented path we will visit the places of great battles, witnessed by monuments, observatories, fields torn apart by bombs and trenches now restored. Sunset is also the ideal time to observe some of the wildlife in our mountains, such as hares, which activate at this time of night.
We continue our ring route wrapped in the dark mountain sky, where the stars can shine in all their beauty and the constellations can reveal many stories of Greek and Roman mythology.
Reservations are required.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a ring, does not present particular technical difficulties and there are no exposed sections. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 200 m.
TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, cap, gloves, front torch possibly with fixed red light.
COST: 15€ for the guided excursion. 5€ for children under 15 years.
Possible snowshoes and poles rental: € 10 per person.
In case there is not enough snow, we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
MEETING POINT: at 3.30 pm at the parking lot of the Kubelek Refuge - Via Monte Zovetto, 2, 36010 Cesuna VI -
It starts on foot from the meeting place.
