DESTINATION: Altarknotto and the mystical places of the Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
The Altar Knotto is a suggestive rock formation located overlooking the Val d'Astico whose shape recalls that of a large altar that has always evoked compelling stories and popular legends. The charm of this place is due not only to its evocative shapes, but also to the lush vegetation that surrounds it. In fact, we quickly move from thermophilic plants of the eyelashes to the typically alpine flora of our mountains. This path that crosses a lush beech forest takes us to observe the sunset from the Altaburg giving us a breathtaking view of the Val D'Astico, and then reach the Altar knotto and conclude the ring route at dusk for a simple dirt road in the woods.
Reservations are required.
Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in altitude uphill is less than 300 m, there are no particularly exposed sections, the Altar knotto as well as the Altaburg are however located overlooking the Val D'Astico.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, cap, gloves, front pile (possibly with red light).
COST: 15€ for the guided excursion. 5€ for children under 15 years.

From there there is a journey by car, with its own means of 3 minutes to be done.
There are no services (WC - refreshment) at the starting point.
